My passion for photography began early in life, and developed throughout my schooling before deciding to make a career of it.  After my graduation from Fanshawe College’s 2 year diploma program in photography, I did an understudy with 3 different well known photographers enabling me to gain a broad look at the many different aspects of photography.  Since setting up on my own in 1990 I’ve worked on a diverse range of shoots including fashion, portraiture, sports, schools, infant, maternity, and of course wedding photography.

Over time I have continued to follow up on the latest that digital photography has to offer, with the most up-to-date equipment, and constantly studying the latest photographic software.  In 1998 I went back to college to again  update myself with the latest changes in the electronic aspects of the field, earning a second diploma on the electronics end of things .  With additional continuing education to keep on top of the changing industry, and study on my own,  I branched out into making DVD video’s.

Now a wife and mother I have even more of an opportunity to further my creativity as my family remains ever ready to break for the camera; and our daughter waits for the thrill to see the “beautiful brides” after the pictures of the day are uploaded.

I consider it a great privilege to photograph a couple’s wedding.  A wedding is one of the most inspiring motivating and creative assignments a photographer can have.   My object is to work as discreetly as possible enabling me to capture the candid, relaxed images that I find are most popular with clients.  Your wedding day is about you, a celebration of your commitment to each other, shared with people who are special to you.  That is why I feel that photography should record the emotion and the fun unobtrusively, letting the day flow naturally.  I prefer to ‘capture the moment’ by working quietly and professionally and not taking over. Taking care, not taking over. Listening to and understanding you is key to our success.

We are located in beautiful Arkona surrounded by a farming community, situated half way between London and Sarnia, which allows us to serve a wide area.
